Cupcake Bake Off Location is Summerfest Tent

The location of the Cupcake Bake Off, scheduled to take place Sunday, July 10 at 10:30 am, is the Summerfest Tent. The Summerfest Tent is located along the main concourse next to the press box/concession stand.

The Bake Off location was incorrectly reported in the Summerfest Pocket Guide available online and in hard copy at Bohlken Park.

13000217_1267095459970734_1548884857509520423_nThe 24th annual Fairview Park Summerfest kicks off tomorrow night, July 7. Our community festival is back better than ever in 2016 with fan favorite attractions like fireworks, a car show, and carnival rides, as well as new activities like a 9-hole putt putt course and a confidence course.

A number of events throughout the weekend require pre-registration to participate. If you desire to take part in any of the events below, please follow the links and pre-register before you get shut out.

The Dick Nicoloff Memorial Car Show does not require pre-registration, but if you are planning on bringing your automobile to participate, you certainly may sign up early. The entrance fee is $8 through Friday, $10 the day of the event. The event includes an awesome DJ, door prizes, Becker’s donuts, a Chinese raffle, TROPHIES, and much more! Net proceeds benefit the Fairview Park Municipal Foundation, which hosts and sponsors Summerfest. Only 110 cars can be accommodated.

Pie Eating Contest Comes to Summerfest 2016

Summerfest Pie Eating Contest-page-001RULES:

  • The first person to finish his/her whole pie and stand up will be declared the winner! Judges will decide if the whole pie is finished before ending the contest. In the event of a tie whichever one of the tied contestants who, in the opinion of the judges, has the biggest pie smile will be announced as the winner. Judges’ decisions are final.
  • No hands may be used during the contest; No help from another person during the contest.
  • Any visible signs of sickness will cause disqualification.
  • Waiver MUST be signed by contestants prior to contest. Children under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian present with signed permission entry form. Limit 10 contestants per age group. (Will have waiting list.)
